Today, I'm here to explain what it means, its etymology, and the history behind this term. So, let's start with the meaning of this word. ONLUS (Non-Profit Organizations of Social Utility) are associations that commit to pursuing ideals for social solidarity in various fields: social and healthcare assistance, charity, protection and promotion of artistic heritage, protection and promotion of the environment and environmental heritage, scientific research.
